Goodison Park Stadium Tour
A group of 24 children went to Goodison Park on Tuesday as part of our continued relationship with the Everton in the Community team and the School Supporters’ Club. On the tour we got to learn about the history of the club and the stadium; see the changing rooms; sit in the dugouts; stand on the hallowed turf; and then give interviews in the media zone. As well as the Everton based fun, we were also given a challenge to design and build a goal out of tape and newspaper that had to withstand a football being kicked at it. Mr. Haven’s group built a goal that was good enough to meet Premier League regulations and might be used in Sunday’s derby. Thank you to Elle, Niall, Mick and Mark at Everton for making our morning so fun.
