We provide three residential trips throughout the children's time at our school. We believe these are essential experiences to develop independence, resilience, confidence and an adventurous spirit.
Year 4 PGL: This is a three day/two night residential in April/May where pupils can experience outdoor and adventurous activities. Activities include climbing, zip-wire, den-building, caving, abseiling and problem solving.
Year 5 and 6 Skiing: This is an 8 day/7 night residential as part of one of the Liverpool Primary Ski Association annual trips in February or March. Pupils have 6 days of ski instruction by fully qualified staff. This experience empowers pupils to learn a new and exillerating sport as well as overcome challenges in an awe inspiring environment.
Year 6 Barcelona: This is a 6 day/5 night residential in June. Pupils take part in several cultural and fun activities including visits to the Sagrada Familia, Nou Camp, Olympic Stadium, Parc Guell and the Natural History Museum as well as spending a morning at the beach to play games, a salsa lesson and a day at Port Aventura theme park. This broadens pupils experience of another country's culture and practice the Spanish the have been learning since Year 3.
