In this topic, we learnt about the different stages of grief and the different types of loss that you can experience in your lifetime. This is not always associated with death, but you can grieve a loss of friendship, a loss of an experience or a loss of a family member. During this topic, we also recapped on the skills for using technology positively and safely. We considered different scenarios and what we would do if we were ever put in this situation whilst online.

"I always associated grief with death. However, I've learnt than you can feel sad and upset about losing out on a friendship or a family member who has moved away. Understanding how you feel at different stages is important because you know what your emotions are always 'normal' so you don't feel isolated and alone." Evie
