Enriching Experiences
Lessons With a Professional Artist
Year 5 children were given step by step guidance by a professional artist on how to sketch noses, eyes and mouths for their self portraits.
Delamere Forest
We visited the largest area of woodland in the country: the beautiful Delamere Forest. We took our trusted sketchbooks along with us to capture the woodlands and wildlife of this National Trust site. As well as this, we enjoyed sketching the landscapes, trees, leaves and examining the various colours in the forest.

Creating a Life-Size Viking
Year 5 children had an amazing opportunity to work alongside an extremely talented artist to create a life-size Viking to guard our resource area. This enriching experience enabled the children to learn different skills such as: papier mache, painting, sculpting, designing, plaiting and working together as a team.
