Lessons With a Professional Artist
Year 5 children were given step by step guidance by a professional artist on how to sketch noses, eyes and mouths for their self portraits.
During this term, we are planning to visit the largest area of woodland in the country: the beautiful Delamere Forest. We will be bringing along our sketchbooks hoping to capture the woodlands and wildlife of this National Trust site.
Creating a Life-Size Viking
Year 5 children had an amazing opportunity to work alongside an extremely talented artist to create a life-size Viking to guard our resource area. This enriching experience enabled the children to learn different skills such as: papier mache, painting, sculpting, designing, plaiting and working together as a team.
