Economics Education 

For our Economics Education, year 5 have been looking at the deductions that are taken from a person's wage or salary. With tax being the highest amount deducted, we looked into where all that money goes and what it pays for. We then challenged ourselves to order each service that is paid for by taxes in order of importance and decide how the budget should be split between them. 

"I think that the NHS is definitely the most important service because it saves people's lives." Michael 

"I believe that schools are the most important service because without a free education there would not be as many doctors or nurses to work in the NHS." Joe
