Year 6: Project 10 - Poetry: William Wordsworth

Project 10 - Poetry: William Wordsworth

This week, we are going to focus on the wonderful poetry of William Wordsworth and the meaning behind his most famous poem 'I wandered lonely as a cloud...' or commonly known as 'Daffodils'.

First, we'll examine the vocabulary and meaning behind the poem's message before writing our own figurative language poetry inspired by nature.

Maybe you can write about your experience of nature that you have seen on your daily walk outside; your memories of a beauty spot (either local or on holiday) or simply about the beautiful weather we have had.

Don't forget to share your work with us via Twitter or email it to us at: year6@sfds.co.uk
