Project 3 - Religious Education: Easter 

As we approach Holy Week, it seemed fitting to focus on the events leading up to Easter Sunday for our project this week. In Year 5, we draw our attention to the importance of self-giving and sacrifice. We mark this during the season of Lent as we practise both giving and giving-up to help identify with the complete self-offering of Jesus on Good Friday.

 

Through this project, pupils will explore the events leading to Jesus's ultimate sacrifice and the joy of his resurrection on Easter Sunday. 

 

Below you can find the activity task cards alongside additional resources that will support pupil's learning. For task 4, school provided card in the home learning packs for the children to complete the activity of designing an Easter card.
