As part of our on-going Mandarin lessons, we were lucky enough to be invited to a traditional chinese Martial Arts performance at Liverpool University last week and we couldn't believe our eyes.... The troupe were flown in all the way from Beijing. Here is Lucie's take on it...

Astonished, amazed, touched are the exact emotions I felt when watching the majestic warriors from the Beijing Martial Arts troupe perform. We gazed in amazement as they used swords, fans and much more. It truly was the most breath taking experience of my life! Some acts made you feel emotional whilst others made you feel excited but over all, I would have to say it was the best performance I have ever seen. Thank you for having us!
