Debate motion: Computers and technology should be used for home learning

In this week's project, you will be taking on the role of the proposition or opposition to write a debate speech about the use of technology in home learning. You will have the opportunity to research the advantages and disadvantages of technology before deciding on your viewpoint.

You will then be able to write your debate speech - remember to include all of the key debating skills that we have learnt in Year 4, as well as the persuasive devices. There are plenty of help sheets below for support with this!  Once you have written your speech, hold a debate at home with your family - who will be the most persuasive?
