Year 3 took part in a healthy eating workshop on Thursday and alongside learning about our ‘5 a day’ and nutritious foods, we made vegetable and fruit smoothies. The glorious green vegetable smoothie was packed with famous ‘super’ foods; such as kale, spinach and celery. Our fabulous fruit smoothie was filled with our favourite fruits; such as melon, strawberries and mango puree. Both were delicious, but not everyone enjoyed the veggie version.
