Duolingo

Regular practise on the 'duolingo' app helps us to embed the spanish vocabulary we learn in our weekly lessons. The more accurate our answers, the quicker we progress through the various topics, such as phrases, family and travel. It is important that we revisit these topics regularly to secure our knowledge and earn enough coins to move on!

Writing Independently

Each term we undertake a writing assessment, to showcase the knowledge we have acquired.

Independent work is essential for embedding the knowledge that children acquire during Spanish lessons. Here's a dialogue that was created independently by Ellie Valiant Campos and Joejoe Lynch:

E: Hola. ¿Cómo estás?

J: Estoy muy bien. ¿Y tú?

E: Estoy bueno. ¿Cuántos años tienes? 

J: Tengo 8 años. Mi cumpleaños es en octubre. ¿Y tú?

E: Tengo 7 años.
