Careers Visit to St. George's Hall
During our Careers Visit to St. George's Hall (Part of Liverpool's UNESCO World Heritage Site), we were able to experience what it is like to make a career out of a keen interest in History.
We met with James, a Heritage Assistant and Tour Guide at St. George's Hall. He discussed his career, and how he consults with TV shows, radio shows and events within the city, such as the Grand National to retell the many stories that link us all together as a city. James also advised us of other opportunities for pursuing interests in History, such as research and education.
James also took us on a behind the scenes tour of one of the best buildings in the city, where he demonstrated the knowledge, the storytelling skills and personal qualities you need to enrich the experiences of those wishing to hear the stories of those that went before us.
