After weeks of qualifiers, friendlies and tune-up games, today marked the day we had all been waiting for – the European Championships!  The whole school came out in force, providing an intense atmosphere. This did not intimidate our teams though, who entertained the masses with performances packed with skill and desire.  As usual, there was a whole lot of drama! Penalties, hand-balls, last minute goals, disallowed goals, cards, tears and, of course, some suspect refereeing!  In the end, we were left with a champion in each year group.  For some children (in Year 6), this was their last shot at glory, but for others (Years 3, 4 & 5), their attention has already turned to next year’s event!  Congratulations to everyone who took part in the finals, especially our winners!
