Fieldwork: The River Bollin
As part of our river study, Year 3 embarked on a fieldwork investigation of the River Bollin. We explored and recorded how the velocity of the water changed at certain points on the river and why that may have been. After that, we took part in some orienteering work in the local area.

In March, Year 3 visited PGL where they used their geographical skills as part of their daily activities.
The children used their map reading skills during their day time orienteering activity. The children had fun exploring the great outdoors and even managed to navigate around the woodland using virtual reality!
