Anti-hate campaign visit

Today we were visited by John Au from the Anthony Walker foundation, along with two of our local community support officers. They were here to tell us all about their new anti-hate campaign. First, we listened to the wonderful story, ‘It’s ok to be different’ by Todd Parr and thought about the differences and similarities around us. We also thought about how boring it would be if we were all the same! We learned about the five different types of hate crime and what we can do to help stop this from happening in our area. Excitingly, we have been asked to design a poster which will be displayed around our local community to help prevent hate crime from happening. Watch this space to see how our finished posters look…
