23/11/2017 - LFC turns 125!
It is soon to be Liverpool Football Club’s 125th anniversary! In celebration of this, there will be a new memorial built at the ground. St Francis de Sales are very proud to announce that they have been chosen to work in collaboration with LFC during the creation of this.
A specially commissioned artist along with LFC’s historian, visited school this week and worked with Class 9 to study LFC’s history, in particular 1928 – 1932. They looked in detail at the Kop and the architectural designs from this time period. Children created their own representations which the artist will now take away and add to the memorial which is to be unveiled early next year.
A great piece of history created that will be seen by people from all over the world for many years to come! We can’t wait to see the finished article!
