Positions filled!

After some wonderful presentations, the Year 5 children voted for who they wanted to represent them as their Year 5 Prefects.

Did you know that the Ancient Greeks were the first to introduce us to democracy? It is thanks to them that we have the right to vote for things in our daily lives – including selecting our prefects!

The Year 5 teachers would like to thank all of the children that put their name forward and dedicated time towards planning speeches and preparing posters. We are extremely proud of the speaking/persuasive skills that were on show!

With that being said, a huge congratulations must go to our Year 5 Prefects:

Class 9: Isabelle T & Harley W

Class 10: Nadia O & Daniel B

Class 11: Jessica A & Charlie B 

Class 12: Christopher L & Katie S 

I’m sure they will all do a fantastic job in keeping us safe and happy, both in class and on the yard!
