21/06/17: It's competition time!
PE - Mini Olympics
The competition was fierce between Class 12 children today, as we took to the yard to compete in various athletic events. The children were put into groups and aimed to earn points for their total score. Here they are, to tell you more!
Today, in PE, we had a mini-Olympics competition! This consisted of 100m race, a 200m race, a relay, press-ups, burpees, star jumps and even skipping! We could win points for our team (for example, first place in each event would win five points, second would win four, third would win three, fourth would win two and fifth would win one. It was so fun to compete with my classmates! We recorded our points on the whiteboard, in order to keep an accurate tally of our achievements.
