Day and Night

In this week’s science lesson, we discussed the transition from day to night. We found out that the Earth rotates one complete turn every 24 hours to give us day and night. When Britain faces the Sun it is daytime in Britain; however, the other side of the world is in darkness. So, in Australia it is the middle of the night. To deepen our understanding, we created a stop motion film on the iPads of the Earth orbiting the Sun. Check out some of our stop motion creations below!
