17.01.20 - Town Hall Visit
Our school councillors have had the privilege of experiencing a private tour of the Liverpool Town Hall. This was a fantastic opportunity for the children to see the magnificent Georgian Building and hear some of its history from the City Hall's guide, James.
Not only were the children granted a private tour of the building, but also the Lord Mayor herself, Anna Rothery, was there to greet them. Last time she was in our school, our councillors informed the mayor of their next project (a clock for our dining hall) so were delighted to find she had bought them a clock for our dining hall!
A huge thank you to the Lord Mayor of Liverpool and James our Town Hall tour guide. And an even bigger thank you for the kind present - a brand new clock for our school dining hall!!
