During our geography lessons, we have been studying rivers. As we have such a famous river right on our doorstep, we decided to take an exciting trip to explore it further. We travelled to the Mersey Ferry terminal and climbed aboard the magnificent vessel. It was the perfect opportunity to see our wonderful city in style and sing along to Gerry and the Pacemaker’s hit ‘Ferry ‘cross the Mersey’. We managed to see an enormous cruise liner docked at the terminal and also received a compliment from a member of the public regarding our beautiful behaviour. It was a lovely way to end our Year 4 adventure.
