Today, we were lucky enough to have a visit from the teachers of our Chinese primary school: Yi Fu. They had travelled twenty hours on an aeroplane and over 6000 miles to come and see the outstanding work that goes on in our school - and, of course, they were very impressed!
One of our school councillors, Scarlett, gave a wonderful welcoming speech that really showcased the best that our school, and our city, has to offer. Throughout the day, our visitors watched some of the amazing lessons that take place everyday, demonstrations of our Mandarin sessions as well as a Q&A with our school councillors in the afternoon.
We were lucky enough to receive Christmas cards from the pupils of Yi Fu too! Now, we are working on some of our own to send back over to China in preparation for Chinese New Year.
