Year 6 have made an excellent start to our first Science topic of the year, which is all about Electricity. To begin our topic, we revised what we already know about electricity and what we would like to find out. Children came up with some brilliant questions including: How many volts are required to power our school?

Next, we had a game of circuits bingo, where we were given a card with electrical circuit symbols on. The bingo caller shouted out different parts of a circuit and we had to see if we had the symbol that matched up to it. 

Finally, we used the MacBooks to play a game where we had to test some circuits and fix the broken ones. We are all positively charged with excitement to get stuck into our topic!
