At the start of this week, Year 4 enjoyed listening to stories being told by a visitor called Taffy Thomas. Taffy, who tells all his stories from memory, uses images that are adorned on his coat to prompt him. Following this visit, Year 4 felt inspired to try and have a go of this kind of storytelling. 

Excitingly, the children were all issued with a free copy of our new 'We Are Writers' book. These contain the 100 word stories that our pupils have recently written - meaning that all of our pupils are published authors! The children could not wait to get their hands on them. 

Taking inspiration from Taffy Thomas, the children designed their own images that could prompt their memories of their own 100 word stories and have enjoyed sharing them with each other.
