St Francis de Sales V St Johns

Yesterday, our Year 5 and 6 girls team played St Johns in the Liverpool Cup it was a hard fought game at first with both sides having good chances. However, our girls kept them pressure on their defence and eventually opened them up with a brilliant finish from Ella Belger. We then went from strength to strength scoring some excellent goals whilst playing some fantastic football.

The goal of the game came from Isabelle Taylor who finished after Ella beat two players and put a great ball in the box. Our defence was outstanding too with Kate Spear and Emily Rooney making some excellent challenges.

The game finished 14-0 and the girls are now looking forward to their next game after half term.
