Science Club

Science Club has been even more exciting this half term! We have already completed lots of interesting investigations to put our Science skills to the test.

This half term we have investigated:

  • The structure of DNA by creating models of the double helix
  • Static electricity by becoming snake charmers! We made our snakes dance using static electricity from a balloon
  • Forces through completing the egg drop challenge! We created an invention to protect our eggs from cracking when dropped!
  • The structure of a neuron by creating neuron models! We had to create the cell body, the nucleus, the dendrites, the axon and the axon terminal! This was part of the British Science week 'Journeys' topic.
