Independent study is a process, a method and a cornerstone of Mathematics in our school.  It is the process in which a student acquires the ability for inquiry and critical evaluation and it includes freedom of choice in determining how to solve problems.

Pupil Voice:

"Working independently is so important in maths. We do it in each and every lesson! Whether it's practising a skill, working on a problem, explaining our reasoning, playing a game or working on our timestables on TTRS, we work independently and show off just how much we have learnt." - Harry M
