The 2019 General Election 

Year 4 have been exploring many aspects of a general election including; democracy, the main political parties in the UK and how to vote at a polling station. We investigated the leaders of each party and then questioned the differing points in each parties manifestos to gain a greater understanding of the potential leaders of the UK.

Not long after, we created our own manifesto's! Here is Class 7's favourite promise: 

"I believe I am the best candidate for the job! I promise to support a greener Liverpool. Every morning, we walk along Hale road to enter our school and what do we see? Crisp packets and sweet wrappers littering the floor! Enough is enough, vote for me in the upcoming election on Thursday 12th December and I promise you immediate change." - Bailey
