31.01.17 Sound Workshop with Mr. B
Year 4 Sound Workshop
This week, we enjoyed participating in a sound workshop with Mr. B as a start to our new science workshop. To begin with, Mr. B taught us all about how sound works including showing us how objects must vibrate in order to create a sound. After that, he talked to us about Thomas Edison and how he developed the Phonograph which not only records sounds, but also plays them back. Each of us then had the opportunity to record our own musical tunes before listening to them together using an amplifier. What an amazing way to start our new topic!
