17.03.17 - Art Week: Antony Gormley Inspired Sculpting!
Throughout the week, children in Year 4 experienced another amazing ‘Art Day’ with artist, Becky. The children used clay to create figures based on Antony Gormley’s project ‘Field’. This links well with our current topic about the renowned sculptor.
To begin with, the children had the opportunity to get familiar with the use of clay and research the topic. Once confident enough, they created their own version of the Gormley figures. A fantastic and interesting range of figures emerged.
