Year 4 Home Learning Project: Teeth and Digestion
In this week's Science project, you will be learning all about the different types of teeth that we have and their functions. You will also have the opportunity to explore how we can look after our teeth and why this is so important. Why not carry out the tooth decay egg shell experiment (see instructions) to find out about which substances harm our teeth - we would love to see your photographs!
The second part of this week's task will focus on the digestive system - you will find out about the different parts of the digestive system and their functions. You will have the chance to create your own comic strip showing what happens in each stage of digestion! Using items around the home, you may even be able to create your own model of the digestive system (see instructions)!
