Control and Programming

Using the 'Code Studio' website, Year 6 have been learning how to: use variables and procedures within a computer program; use 'when' and 'if ' commands to create responses; know when to use 'repeat', 'repeat until' and 'forever if' loops to make programs shorter and more efficient.

During this process, we had to explain (providing justification) our reasoning for the programming decisions we made. Although tricky, it helped us to use our technical vocabulary and ensure that our programmes were as user-friendly as possible. 

 

 

I really enjoyed our computing lesson today.

I chose to go onto the 'explorer' version because I found it really interesting.

I enjoyed the independence of building my own structures and then comparing them to my classmates.
