Duolingo

In Year 5, we use Duolingo to practice our Spanish skills focusing on our vocabulary. The more we use Duolingo, the more accurate our answers become which results in quicker progress being made while focusing on vocabulary such as common phrases and travel. 

Writing Independently

Each term we undertake a writing assessment, to showcase the knowledge we have acquired.

Transport

Once Year 5 had used oracy skills to help them recognise, pronounce and describe various forms of transport in Spanish, they independently read questions about this topic and answered them in Spanish. 

Clothing

After using oracy skills to learn how to name and describe various items of clothing in Spanish, Year 5 independently read questions written in Spanish about this topic and answered them in Spanish.
