Digital Mapping - Cross-Curricular Link (Geography)

Year 5 worked with Mr. Pyne from Hi-Impact to complete digital mapping on the iPads to view Brazil and compare the physical and human geographical features to the that of the UK. They made comparisons between cities such as Rio and Liverpool.

"I was surprised at how many similarities Rio and Liverpool have. I presumed that because they are in different climate zones that the two cities would be vastly different. They both have lots of the same man-made (human) features such as sports stadiums and significant places of worship." Isabelle
