30/10/2018 - Art Skills Week
We are incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to receive first class art lessons from a professional artist, Becky. We focused on the following skills:
- Learning the proportions of the face by measuring and comparing
- Learning how to use different grades of pencil for shading and creating light and dark
- Learning how to sketch using light pencil marks that can be erased easily for alterations
From our intensive session, we were then able to draw a self-portrait that showcased our newly found skills.
