Maths Escape Rooms
Today, Year 4 worked in small teams to crack codes, unlock the padlocks and put their reasoning and teamwork skills to the test. In order to work out the combinations, the children needed to solve a variety of problems linked to: converting g to kg, calculating money, plotting and reading co-ordinates, multiplication tables, sequences (the Fibonacci sequence to be precise) and Morse code! It was an excellent opportunity to work together and demonstrate our mathematical knowledge.
