City Athletic Championships

This week, we took part in the City Athletic Championships at Wavertree on Tuesday and Thursday. As usual, our children represented our school with pride and passion. Amazingly, we recorded our best ever team score of 3^rdin the district thanks to every child in the team playing their part!

Not only did we finish 3^rdin the district, but we also had some serious stand out performances from key individuals. Dianna Emehelu finished 1^stin the Year 6 high jump, first in the 75m and was in the relay team that finished 1^st. Her sister Rachael Emehelu finished 1^stin the Year 5 800m, 2^ndin the high jump and was part of the team that finished 1^stin the Year 6 relay. Archie McNally, finished 2^ndin the Year 6 high jump and 2^ndin the 135m. Summer Seaborne and Maggie Meskell were part of the team that finished 1^stin the girls Year 6 relay.

We now have these 5 children in the Champions of Champions event in a few weeks time!
