St Francis de Sales 2 V Rice Lane 0

 

On Monday, the school football team took on Rice Lane in their first league game of the season. It was a tremendously close game with good play from both teams throughout. In the first half we created the best of the chances and thankfully took them. Tom Frost got both goals with both assists coming from Archie McNally.

 

In the second half the boys were extremely dedicated to their positions and defended well. Every boy represented our school with pride and showed a real hunger and desire to win. Thomas Magill was excellent at the back as was Archie McNally and Ben Worthington in centre midfield.

 

The boys are now looking forward to their next game after half term.
