14/03/2019 - Melting Chocolate Investigation

As part of our States of Matter topic, the children have been investigating changes of state. We investigated the best temperature for melting chocolate - 5oC, 30oC or 40oC. We found that 40oC melted the quickest as the heat gave the particles energy to move apart and cause the solid to turn into a liquid!
