On Tuesday 12^th December, a selection of children from our school choir went to Walton Manor Care Home to spread some festive cheer. We were invited back after a stellar performance last year which had the audience singing their socks off! Our performance this year was even better, singing a range of crowd pleasing songs such as ‘Rocking around the Christmas tree’, ‘Silent Night’ and ‘Feliz Navidad’. We even got to show off our new signing skills with our signed performance of ‘Away in a Manger’. After our performance, the children were invited to introduce themselves and get to know some of the residents, some of whom we remembered from last year. Overall, the children really enjoyed their visit to Walton Manor and are hoping for another invite next year.
