Preparing and Cooking our Scouse Pies
Today, we have been practising our chopping skills and preparing the vegetables to put into our Scouse pies. Using the claw grip, we finely diced the vegetables so that the pieces would all cook evenly before roughly chopping and adding in the meat to different pans.
As you can see from the photographs, some of us tried (and failed!) to use techniques to stop us from crying when chopping an onion!
