This term, we will be finding out all about the city of Barcelona in Spain! This week, we located Spain on our school map and discovered how it is bordered by France and Portugal and is part of Europe.

We then located the region of Catalonia in the North-East and discovered that Barcelona is the capital of this region. In groups, we used salt-dough to make our own maps of Spain, thinking carefully about the shape of the land. We used markers to plot Spain's capital, Madrid, aswell as Barcelona on the coastline.
