Science Rocks!
This week, Year 3 had lots of fun at a Rocks Workshop. We examined lots of different fascinating fossils; some were 180 million years old! Others had parts of animals trapped inside them and they had mineralised into some fantastic colours. Working in small groups we completed amazing activities such as: weighing fossils, counting sharks' teeth and measuring different rocks. We also used a microscope to look closely at the special parts of a rock which was a truly fabulous sight.
