St Francis de Sales V Knotty Ash

On Wednesday 7^th February, our girl’s team played once again in the next round of the cup. It was an extremely hard game with chances at both ends of the pitch. Thankfully, we took the lead early on with what can only be described and a WOW moment from Ella Belger! Ella scored a screamer from about 25 yards to help us on our way. Ella was again involved in the next goal setting up Isabelle Taylor who coolly finished from about 7 yards out.

In the second half, Knotty Ash tested us on a number of occasions but our defence held out and the game finished 2-0. We are now through to the next round of the cup.
