Homework

Reading

Reading cards will be checked every morning during informal entry. We expect all pupils to read to an adult and have their reading card signed at least three times during the week.

Maths 

Every Monday, all children will be given a piece of Maths homework which will cover all areas of the curriculum. This is to be completed and brought back into school to mark on the Friday.

Times Tables

Pupils will complete a quiz once per week on their timestables (25 questions). Pupils are expected to practise and revise these at home on Times Tables Rock Stars.

Spelling

Children will be introduced to a spelling rule on a Monday and have opportunities throughout the week to practise applying these spellings into their writing. Please ensure that you are practising at home too. Dictation tests will take place on a Friday.
