Citizenship

At St Francis de Sales, our Citizenship curriculum helps pupils understand their place in an interconnected world and the responsibilities they hold within it. Children learn about democracy, rights and responsibilities, financial well-being and how everyday choices can shape their future. We also develop pupils’ global competency—supporting them to understand diverse cultures, appreciate different perspectives and consider global issues with empathy and critical thinking. Through these experiences, pupils grow into informed, responsible and active citizens who contribute positively to their community and the wider world.
