St. Francis de Sales Catholic Junior School Admissions
Year 3 Applications for 2026/27
For current Year 2 pupils who would like to join our school in Year 3, contact the school for an application form. You will also need to complete the supplementary faith form.
All applications which are submitted on time will be considered at the same time and after the closing date for admissions which is 15th January 2026.
You will be advised of the outcome of your application on 16th April 2026 or the next working day, by the local authority on our behalf. If you are unsuccessful (unless your child gained a place at a school you ranked higher) you will be informed of the reasons, related to the oversubscription criteria listed above, and you have the right of appeal to an independent appeal panel.

Please find a copy of our Supplimentary Faith Form to download below, this needs to be completed alongside applications to Liverpool City Council and handed in to the office. We can sent a hard copy out to you if you contact the office at admin@sfds.co.uk.

In-Year Admissions
For ‘in-year’ admission, families should contact our school directly for an application form which should be completed and returned to school. Please email admin@sfds.co.uk or call our school office on 0151 525 7602 for advice or information.
Year 7 Applications
Applications for Year 7 are processed by the City Council and the procedures and application forms can be found following the link below. We are very happy to help families complete the on line applications. Please contact school to make an appointment if you need any assistance applying for Year 7.
