Year 4 Visits Colomendy

Last week, Year 4 visited Colomendy! Colomendy is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The children spent 3 days doing all sorts of activities including caving, orienteering, climbing up and walking across a 30ft balance beam, laser quest and learning how to make a shelter in the wild during the bush craft activity. Not only did the children enjoy a lot of activities during the day, they also had a fantastic time at the disco on Thursday night. Some of the dance moves were a sight to behold!

They all thoroughly enjoyed themselves whilst learning a number of new and exciting skills for example making a bed! I am sure you have all been updated on how they bravely conquered their fears and are now a lot more independent!

Colomendy Morning Update 6/5/16: After another great afternoon of exciting activities yesterday the children a ball at the disco. There were some very interesting moves on display! The children are all out on morning activities now and will have lunch before heading home. We are expected back at school at approximately 4.15pm. The staff will take the children and their luggage onto the yard and release them from there. Colomendy Morning Update 5/6/16: After a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast, Year 4 have had a superb morning. Amongst other things, groups have been caving, orienteering and fencing.
