This week, our school has had lots of special events taking place for Healthy Eating Week.
Yesterday, a team of chefs came to deliver an assembly where we learnt about balanced diets, some facts about different foods and all about different types of fruit.
Today, we made brown bread in our healthy eating workshop. The ingredients we used were strong white flour, wholemeal flour, salt and oil. We mixed them together and then baked them in an oven. We made bread in all different shapes and sizes and the chefs were very helpful in giving us ideas.
It has only been 2 days but healthy eating week has been amazing. We have learnt a lot and it will hopefully make a big difference to our lives.
