Return to school - September

In order to protect our staff and pupils, all parents, carers and visitors will be asked to wear a face covering on the school premises (yard and buildings) and adhere to our strict social distance and hygiene rules.

We are looking forward to welcoming all of our pupils back to school on Wednesday 2nd September 2020.

Start of Day Arrangements

To ensure the school is as safe as possible for all, we have staggered the start and end times for the day and each year group will have an allocated entrance and exit to the school building.

  • The new Y3 pupils will start at 10.00am on Wednesday 2nd September. Staff will be on the yard to meet and greet you.
  • After that we ask Y3 to begin entering school at 8.30am as part of our staggered starts.
  • Year 4 are asked to come into school at 8.30am.
  • Years 5 and 6 are asked to come in at 8.45am.

Please see the maps below for details on which gates and doors they should use. Staff will be on hand to direct parents and pupils.

End of Day Arrangements

Y3 and 4 can be collected on the yard from 3.35pm.

If you have children in Y3 and 4, the Y3 pupil will be waiting close to the Y4 pupil for collection at 3.35pm.

If Y3 or 4 children have siblings in Y5 or 6, they will wait close to their oldest sibling and can be collected from there at 3.45pm.

Gates will open at 3.30pm for parents to come onto the yard and form a socially distanced queued in the allotted space for their child's class. Staff will be on hand to direct you. Please use the allotted gate.

Y5 and 6 can be collected at 3.45pm

We ask parents collected Y5 and 6 pupils to begin entering the yard no earlier than 3.40pm.

Staff will be on hand to direct you to the correct queueing area.

Pupils will be handed over to the first parent in the queue who is then asked to leave the yard via the allotted gate.
